As policy makers and governments worldwide responded to the emergence of the novel Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), National Foods Limited (NFL) responded by putting together a blended team comprising of a number of professionals across different Business Units and Functions to look into all matters pertaining to COVID-19. The team also worked with various stakeholders within the INNSCOR group to manage and respond to all cases timeously, including where hospitalizations were required. We recorded a number of COVID-19 cases and those requiring hospital care were managed as appropriate. No deaths were recorded across the group. Sanitization, temperature checks, Rapid + PCR testing, isolation and contact tracing were and are still the backbone of prevention and management of Covid-19 cases. In addition, vaccination awareness sessions were conducted to enable staff to make informed choices.
