National Foods Limited is sponsoring the Gems. We donated $200000 RTGS when they were going to the world cup. We sponsored their welcome dinner after the world cup and are giving them food hampers for the next 1 year. We also sponsored $250000 RTGS towards their Africa cup and training kits.
In 2017 and 2018 we built 8 schools in Sanyati and Ngezi districts in partnership with Kapnek Trust worth $44,000. We donated stationery worth $8,000 to the 4 rehabilitated schools in the 2 districts.
We donated 60mt of various products including roller meal, self-raising flour, salt and jam worth $43,000 towards Cyclone IDAI in Chimanimani. NFL Staff collected 32 full bags of clothes and shoes that helped to sustain the immediate and basic needs of the affected families. We assisted with $10,000 towards the Cholera Pandemic.
National Foods Limited conducted a clean-up campaign exercise at Machipisa shopping centre on the 29th April 2016 as part of corporate social responsibility. To this end the company identifies schools, hospitals, church run institutions in disadvantaged communities and support self-initiated projects to contribute towards social causes.
